Laura Roukens is a Dutch artist who grew up in Tehran-Iran. Laura lives and works in Amsterdam.
For the exhibition “So Far So Close”, she recalled her early years in Iran and created a series of drawings based on images of her (un)conscious memory as well as documentation from the family archive and other sources.
